Simon will again be a part of The Who tour of Quad
Simon Townshend will be a part of the band when The Who tours “Quadrophenia and More” in the US 2012 / 2013. The tour, line-up and dates were officially announced on July 19th, and presales have already begun. Look for SImon to do a number of solo gigs inbetween the Who dates throughout the tour!

The Who to perform at Olympics closing ceremony
On August 12th, The Who will take part in the closing ceremony of the 2012 Olympic Games, London! Simon will be a part of the band just like he was for the Superbowl. The Olympic committee wanted four major artists representing Britain over the past 50 years – And it has been confirmed that The Who, Take That, George Michael and Emele Sande will perform.
