#One Man And His Guitar

It’s strange not being on the road when for months you’ve been mentally preparing yourself for it. Being away from home ain’t ever easy so the wind up is considerable. The unexpected late in the day let down leaves one a little out on a limb…. So, I’ve been scheming…. Stay tuned as there’s more news on its way…. Hopefully, good.

For now, I can tell you that I’ve got a few more U.S. solo shows on the go. Maybe some of you dedicated Who fans will feel some solace in the fact I’ll be passing through your area with my acoustic guitar, that is, if you live in any of the places listed below:

29 October 2015: PAWLING, NY, Daryl’s House

30 October 2015: SOMERVILLE, MA, The Burren Backroom

1 November 2015: PHILADELPHIA, PA, Tin Angel

3 November 2015: VIENNA, VA,  Jammin Java

If not, keep your fingers crossed, send an email request, find a venue and next year I’ll do my best to get there…. Wherever you are in the world… even Chicago or Toronto!

  1. There’s a new concert venue in Atlantic City – 39N at the Playground at Caesar’s. Check it out!

  2. Funny thing between shows you have done solo, backing Roger’s solo and the Who I have probably seen you more times than any other one musician in the last 10 years. I am a Simon Townsend fan. Hope you make it to Southern California. And I will e-mail and request at the two venues I have attend your solo shows. The Hotel Cafe and Coach House. Enjoy your family and especially the grandchild.

  3. Simon, so glad you are coming back to the Tin Angel in Philly, it was a great show last time around. Who fans seeing Simon solo will certainly soften the blow of waiting for The Who in the spring. Amazing songs a power packed show! Don’t miss it if you’re in the Philly area!

  4. Oh crapola! I’ll be in Boston when you’re in NY and NYC when you’re in Boston. What ARE the odds! Very sorry to miss you this time around.

  5. Or – come to my town, Springfield, IL – The Legacy Theater. I’ll work to make sure every single seat is filled.
